Queen’s Christmas Speech Will be Released as Download for Amazon Kindle

The Queen’s Christmas speech is to be released as a free download for Amazon’s Kindle e-book reader after its broadcast.
An announcement on the Royal Household’s official website also said that a transcript of the speech will be made available on the social networking website Facebook.

Amazon secured access to the holiday tradition after it approached the Royal Household with the proposal.

In addition to this year’s speech, Kindle owners will be able to download the Queen’s previous 48 Christmas messages, dating back to 1952, the year she was crowned monarch.
